Megale and Klamczynskz Ranked No. 48 by ITA

BOISE, Idaho - Although the 2010-11 fall tennis season is just getting underway, the Boise State women's tennis team is already making noise on the national scene as the doubles tandem of Lauren Megale and Sonia Klamczynskz are ranked No. 48 in the ITA Preseason Rankings.

The ITA released the first individual rankings of the fall on Friday (Sept. 10). The first regular season individual and team rankings won't be released until Jan. 4, 2011. The Bronco women will be competing individually throughout the fall until late November.

Megale, a senior from Boise, Idaho (Arizona State University), is coming off an outstanding junior campaign in which she was named first-team All-Western Athletic Conference in both singles and doubles. Megale teamed up with former Bronco Pichittra Thongdach to earn a berth in the NCAA National Doubles Championships. Megale and Thongdach finished the year 30-11 in doubles with three wins over nationally ranked opponents.

Klamczynskz, a junior from Warsaw, Poland, and entering her first season with the Broncos.
