In the Mountain West, Boise State joins the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado State University, University of New Mexico, San Diego State University, Texas Christian University, University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the University of Wyoming. In 2012, Fresno State, University of Nevada, Reno and the University of Hawaii (football only) will be part of the conference.
Boise State's entrance into the conference will be marked by three special programs airing tonight on The Mountain West Sports Network (The Mtn.) with repeated broadcasts during "Boise State Week," July 4-10.
The Mtn. is available on Cable One (channel 329) and DirecTV (616). The initial broadcast times on July 1 for the shows are 7 p.m. (MT) for "Boise State Football: An Epic Ascent," 7:30 p.m. for "Beyond the Blue with Boise State Athletics," and 8 p.m. for "Welcome to Boise and Boise State University." Additionally, the Boise State edition of "Stories of the Mountain West" will air at 7 p.m. on July 4.
