Three Broncos Named Preseason All-America

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State football student-athletes Kellen Moore, Nate Potter and Billy Winn were each named Preseason All-America, Monday.

Potter and Winn were each named to the first team, while Moore was named to the second team.

Potter, a redshirt senior, has already been named first-team Preseason All-America by Athlon Sports, Lindy’s Sports and Phil Steele. A product of Boise, Idaho, Potter has started 21-consecutive games at left tackle dating back to his sophomore season.

Winn, a redshirt senior from Las Vegas, Nev., has been named a first-team Preseason All-American by Athlon Sports and a second-team Preseason All-American by both Lindy’s Sports and Phil Steele. Winn’s 9.5 tackles-for-loss in 2010 ranked third on the team, and his 12.5 TFLs in 2009 were the second-most for the Broncos. He has also combined for 10 sacks the past two seasons.

A senior from Prosser, Wash., Moore enters 2011 as the nation's active career leader in passing efficiency (166.74) and wins by a quarterback (38), while ranking second on the active career list in completion percentage (68.17), passing yards (10,867), passing touchdowns (99) and completions (831). Last season he completed 273-of-383 passes for 3,845 yards, 35 touchdowns and six interceptions for a national-best pass efficiency of 182.63.
