BOISE, Idaho –
The Boise State men’s golf team will travel to Manhattan, Kan., to compete in the Jim Colbert Intercollegiate, Oct. 3-4. The event will be held at the Colbert Hills Golf Course.
The tournament will consist of 36 holes Monday and the final 18 holes Tuesday, with a shotgun start of 7:30 a.m. (MT) each day.
The eight-team field includes the Broncos, tournament-host Kansas State, Creighton, Drake, Idaho, North Dakota, Northern Colorado and South Dakota.

Boise State is coming off of consecutive fourth-place finishes to begin the season, and was ranked No. 79 in Golfstat’s initial national rankings for the 2011-12 season.
“We haven’t played to our full potential yet, and we’re only about 15 spots back of having a shot to play in the NCAAs,” Boise State head coach Kevin Burton said. “If we can continue to improve throughout the year, this could be a special season for us.”
