► What's Happening - The Boise State University cross country teams begin their 2011 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 10 at the fourth annual Roger Curran Invitational. The meet, which is hosted by Northwest Nazarene University, will include a handful of races for university and open divisions and will be held at West Park in Nampa, Idaho.
► Meet Specifics - The men's race will consist of a 6-kilometer distance and is set for a 10:00 a.m. start while the women will run a 4-kilometer race, slated for 11:30 a.m. The meet will include Boise State, Northwest Nazarene, Treasure Valley Community College and Westminster.
► A Look at Boise State:
● Last Time at the Roger Curran: Last season the Bronco men and women swept the team titles at the Roger Curran Invitational. Then both freshmen, Drew O'donoghue-McDonald won the men's race, while Emma Bates placed second in the women's race.
● About the Broncos: The Broncos welcome 13 men and 35 women to the 2011 roster, 11 freshmen are added to both the men's and women's rosters. A young team, the men have two sophomores and 11 freshmen on the roster, while the women have one senior, four juniors, 19 sophomores and 11 freshmen.
● Who is Racing for the Broncos: The Broncos use this first meet as an open meet where their full roster for both the men and women will compete. Minus any injuries or illness the entire roster will compete this weekend.
