THE GAME: The Boise State men’s basketball team travels to face No. 17/17 San Diego State Wednesday at Viejas Arena in San Diego, Calif. Tip-off between the Broncos (10-10, 0-5 MW) and Aztecs (18-3, 4-1 MW) is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. (MT), and the game will be nationally-televised by CBS Sports Network.

The game is one of three Bronco broadcasts by CBS Sports Network this season.

THE SERIES: The only previous meeting between the Broncos and Aztecs prior to this season was played more than 35 years ago. San Diego State defeated Boise State 79-68 in San Diego, Dec. 16, 1976.

FROSH 20-POINT GAMES: Boise State boasts five 20-point games by freshmen this season, including three from Anthony Drmic and two from Derrick Marks.

The five outings in 2011-12 are more than the combined total of 20-point games by Bronco freshmen the last 17 seasons. The single-season total is also the highest in at least the last 24 years.

STARTING LINE-UPS: The Broncos have already used 11 different starting line-ups through 20 games in 2011-12, more than the team used all of last season (eight).

The Broncos have had nine different players lead the team or tie for the team high in scoring in 2011-12. Additionally, 11 different players have recorded at least one double-digit scoring game this season.
