Boise State vs. Nevada Game Notes

The Boise State football team - ranked No. 15 in the USA TODAY Coaches' Poll and No. 25 in the Associated Press Poll - will hit the road for its final game of the regular season, taking on Nevada Saturday, at Mackay Stadium in Reno, Nev. Kickoff is slated for 1:30 p.m. (MT), and the game will be televised by ABC.

Boise State leads the all-time series 25-13, with wins in 11 of the last 12 meetings. The Broncos' lone loss in that stretch was a 34-31 overtime setback Nov. 26, 2010, the last time they visited Mackay Stadium.

With a victory over Nevada, Boise State will earn a share of the 2012 Mountain West Championship with Fresno State and San Diego State. It would mark the Broncos' fifth conference title in head coach Chris Petersen's seven seasons and ninth in the last 11 seasons.

Senior running back D.J. Harper enters the game 65 yards shy of becoming the 12th different Boise State player to rush for 1,000 yards in a season. It would also give the Broncos a 1,000-yard rusher in four-consecutive seasons (Jeremy Avery 2009; Doug Martin 2010-11).
