#15 Bronco Gymnasts Travel to Southern Utah

What's Happening:
The No. 15-ranked Boise State gymnastics team heads to Cedar City, Utah, to take on No. 45-ranked Southern Utah in their penultimate regular season meet.  The Broncos (8-4) will take on the Thunderbirds (3-11) for the second time this season, after facing off in Logan, Utah, on Jan. 27.

Tickets can be purchased at the door and are $7 for adults, $5 for youth (ages 3-17) and free for SUU students with a valid ID.

All-Time Series:
Southern Utah and Boise State will face off for the second time this season on Friday, as well as the 46th time in series history. Boise State holds a 25-20 lead over SUU in the overall standings, but SUU earned the most recent win on Jan. 27, 2012, 194.525 to 193.525 over Boise State.  

Boise State "Broncos":
Boise State remains at No. 15 this week, holding an 8-4 record and a 195.830 Regional Qualifying Score (RQS). Most recently they hosted California (March 9) winning 195.875 to 192.050. The Broncos sit at No. 4 in the West Region rankings.

The Broncos also rank No. 11 on vault (49.155), No. 12 on bars (49.045), No. 23 on beam (48.790) and No. 19 on floor (49.00) as a team.

Individually, five Broncos rank in the top-100 this week. Brittany Potvin-Green leads the team with three event rankings, sitting at No. 60 in the all-around (38.840), No. 31 on vault (9.880) and No. 77 on bars (9.815). Ciera Perkins leads the team on bars with a No. 48 spot (9.835) and on floor at No. 57 (9.835), while Lindsay Kazandjian ranks on bars (99 th, 9.80) and beam (84th, 9.795). Amanda Otuafi ranks No. 81 on vault (9.825) and Kelsey Morris ranks No. 77 on bars (9.815) this week.

Southern Utah "Thunderbirds":
Southern Utah (3-11) enters the week ranked No. 45 in the country with an RQS of 193.625. They most recently took on Utah State on March 9, falling 193.70 to 194.20 to the Aggies. The Thunderbirds sit at No. 8 in the North Central Region rankings.

The Thunderbirds also rank No. 39 on vault (48.655), No. 43 on bars (48.465), No. 41 on beam (48.260) and No. 47 on floor (48.575). They have no top-100 individual ranked athletes this week.
