BOISE, Idaho - Manuela Pietzuch
, Teal Vosburgh
and Anissa Bryant-Swift
will represent Boise State women's tennis this weekend at the Brigham Young University Invitational in Provo, Utah. This is the second of four fall tournaments for the Broncos to date. Pietzuch, a returning senior, will lead the two Boise State newcomers Vosburgh, a freshman, and Bryant-Swift, a junior college transfer, into the Utah tournament as the trio sees their first action of the 2012 fall campaign.
Pietzuch was a All-Mountain West Second Team selection last year in doubles and big things are expected of her this year. She should provide solid leadership for her teammates in Provo.
Bryant-Swift came to Boise State with plenty of experience herself following a standout career at Bellevue College where she went undefeated in singles for two years in league play. She won the 2011 NWAACC singles title and two-consecutive doubles championships while at Bellevue. Teal Vosburgh
is a true freshman from Katy, Texas, where she was a highly accomplished junior player ranked as high as No. 1 for the under 16 age group and in the top five for the 18's in the talent rich state of Texas.
All three players are competing in the "Blue Flight" for singles beginning Friday morning. Pietzuch and Bryant-Swift will be competing in doubles together while Vosburgh will be teamed with Lisa Waldron from BYU.
