BOISE, Idaho- The Boise State women's soccer team will host Air Force this Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 11 a.m. at Boas Soccer Complex. The Mountain West Conference rescheduled the game, originally slated for Oct. 6. The Broncos will then head to Logan, Utah to face the Utah State Aggies on Friday, Nov. 1 at 3 p.m. MT.
With its win over New Mexico last weekend, the Broncos earned their first win over the Lobos in the history of the program. The Broncos are now 10-6-2 and 5-3 in Mountain West play. The win also clinched Boise State a birth in the conference tournament, held in Albuquerque, N.M., Nov. 4-9. The final two games of the regular season will determine tournament seeding.
The Utah State Aggies are 9-6-3, 5-3-1 MW this year. The Aggies are coming off a 0-0 draw against New Mexico and a 2-0 loss to San Diego State last weekend.
The Air Force Falcons are 2-12-2, 1-6-1 MW this year. The Falcons lost last weekend 2-0 to UNLV and 2-1 against Nevada.
All Time Record The Broncos are 2-2 all-time against the Air Force Falcons and 0-1 in Boise.
Last Time Out Boise State won 1-0 last year against Air Force on Oct. 12, 2012. Shannon Schueren scored the game-winning goal in the 77th minute, assisted by KT Clayton. Goalkeeper Maddy McDevitt made three saves in the contest, also recording the clean sheet.
All Time Record The Broncos are 3-9-2 all-time against the Utah State Aggies and 1-2-1 in Logan.
