Broncos Complete Second Round at Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational

PRINCEVILLE, Hawai'i - Boise State sophomore men's golfer David Elliott is two strokes back from the top 25 following the second round of the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational, Tuesday.

Elliott posted a 1-under 71 at the 7, 223-yard Princeville Makai Golf Club at the St. Regis Princeville Resort, firing back-to-back birdies on holes 5 and 6, making his two-day total 143 (-1).

Junior Logan France recorded an eagle on his first hole of the day and finished the round 2-under, placing him at even-par for the tournament. He will enter the final round three strokes back from the top 25.

Boise State shot 290 (+2) as a team Tuesday, and will enter the final round in 12th place with a two-day total of 583 (+7).

Georgia Tech, ranked 11th nationally, leads the tournament at 545 (-31).

Senior Ty Travis (74, 74-- +4), sophomore Kyle Mitsunaga (73, 77-- +6), and freshman Tristan Rohrbaugh (75, 75-- +6) rounded out the Bronco contingent.

The final round is scheduled to begin with tee times at 12:30 p.m. (MT).
