BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State women's golf team will head to New Braunfels, Texas, to open its spring season at the Jim West Challenge, Feb. 17-18.
The three-round tournament will be played at the par-71, 6,178-yard Bandit Golf Club, with 36 holes Monday and the final round Tuesday. A shotgun start is scheduled for 7:15 a.m. (MT) each day.
Joining the Broncos and tournament-host Texas State in the 15-school field will be Arkansas-Little Rock, Ball State, Boston College, BYU, Cal State Fullerton, Colorado State, Eastern Michigan, Gonzaga, Missouri State, Montana, New Mexico State, the University of the Incarnate Word and UTEP.

The Broncos capped the fall portion of their season with a victory in the Winthrop Invitational, the team's second win in its last seven tournaments. Martin earned medalist honors at the event, the 11th victory by a Bronco women's golfer in school history.
Boise State has finished either first or second in five of its last seven events.
