► MEET SPECIFICS - The Boise State track and field program hosts its fourth indoor meet of the season this Saturday, Feb. 8 at the Jacksons Indoor Track at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa, Idaho.

► TICKETS AND PARKING - Pricing for the meet is as follows:
$5 - Adults
$3 - Students with ID / Kids 6-12 years / Seniors 60+
Kids 5 and under are free
*Parking is free

► THE COMPETITION - Boise State welcomes a large number of collegiate and club competitors to the Ed Jacoby Invitational and Multi. In addition to Boise State, other collegiate teams include: Division I competitors Idaho State, Nevada, Utah, Utah State and Weber State; NCAA Division II competitor Northwest Nazarene; NCAA Division III member Linfield; NAIA's Eastern Oregon, and Soka; Treasure Valley Community College, as well as Altius Track Club.

► DIRECTIONS TO THE FORD IDAHO CENTER - The Ford Idaho Center sits on the north side of East Franklin Road, between Idaho Center Blvd. and Star Road, approximately one-half mile north of Interstate 84. If coming from I-84, take Exit 38 and go north approximately one-half mile to the light (E. Franklin Rd.). Go right at the light and continue approximately another one-half mile and turn left onto Equine Drive. Continue another one-quarter mile and the Ford Sports Complex building which houses the Jacksons Indoor Track will be on the right.


Eight Bronco women and six Bronco men hold top-100 national rankings in their respective events this week. On the women's side senior Emma Bates leads the team with a No. 6 ranking in the 5000-meters, while also ranking 49th in the mile. Hayli Bozarth ranks 32nd in the weight throw and 52nd in the shot put as the only other Bronco woman with multiple rankings. In track events Mackenzie Flannigan ranks 69th in the 200-meters and Erin McLaughlin sits at 99th in the 5000-meters. In the field events Allison Jeffries sits at 40th in the pole vault, Karyna Armstrong is 56th in the weight throw, Jasmyn Jewett is 72nd in the triple jump and Lacie Rasley is 100th in the shot put.

Allan Schroeder leads the men with two rankings, sitting at 34th in the 3000-meters and 72nd in the mile. Drew O'donoghue-McDonald joins him in the mile, ranking 57th, while Zach Wiles joins Schroeder in the 3000-meters at 88th. Jordin Andrade holds the only additional ranking in track events, sitting at 69th in the 400-meters. In the field events Ryan Sanders ranks 42nd in the triple jump and Roderick Townsend is 59th in the high jump.

► LEADERS OF THE PACK - Three Broncos hold conference leading marks this week with Mackenzie Flannigan holding the top spot in the 60-meters and 200-meters. Emma Bates leads in the 5000-meters, while Allan Schroeder leads in the 3000-meters.

► INDOOR SCHEDULE - Boise State hosts its fourth of five indoor regular season meets of the 2013-14 slate this Saturday, Feb. 8. The home indoor season ends with the Boise State Team Challenge, Feb. 15. In addition Boise State will travel to the UW Invitational (Jan. 31-Feb. 1) and the Husky Classic (Feb. 14) in Seattle. The Mountain West Conference Championships round out the team season, Feb. 27-March 1). They also hope to send team members to the 2014 US Indoor Championships (Feb. 21-23) and the NCAA Indoor Championships (March 14-15) both in Albuquerque, N.M.
