Boise State track & field hosts its only outdoor meet of the season, the Border Clash, with schools from Idaho and Utah. Emma Bates (10,000m, 10:18 p.m. MT) and Marisa Howard (7:01 p.m. MT) will represent the Broncos at the Payton Jordan Invitational on Saturday, May 2, in Palo Alto, Calif.
Teams competing at the Border Clash this weekend include BYU, College of Idaho, Eastern Oregon, Idaho, Idaho State, Lewis-Clark, NNU, TVCC, Utah women, Utah State, Utah Valley and Weber State.
The 2015 installment of the Border Clash will be held Friday May 1 and Saturday, May 2nd. Friday's events will begin at 3:30 p.m. with the women's javelin. Running events will start at 6:30 p.m. with the women's 5000m, with the men's section to follow.
Saturday's slate begins at 10 a.m. with the women's discus. Collegiate competitors will kick off the second and final day of competition in the women's 1500m run at 10:30 a.m.
Day-only tickets will be $6.00 for adults, $4.00 for juniors (2-18) and seniors (62+). Students are free with valid Boise State student I.D. card.

Friday parking will be available in the East Stadium Lot of Bronco Stadium. There will be a shuttle available to transport fans to Dona Larsen Park. Saturday parking will be available at the URS Plaza Building across the street from Dona Larsen Park.
Track & field competitors with marks/times in the top-48 of the NCAA West Outdoor Qualifying list will compete at the 2015 NCAA West Regionals, May 29-31, in Austin, Texas.
Emma Bates holds the top time in the West in the 5,000m (15:32.46). David Elliott and Bates hold top-four times in the 1500m, with Bates running a 4:16.37 and Elliott a 3:41.61. Allan Schroeder ranks seventh in the West in the 3000m Steeplechase (8:46.48), and Jordin Andrade also ranks seventh in the 400m hurdles (50.56). Fernando Martinez (400m Hurdles) and Michael Vennard (5000m) each place 14th, while Marisa Howard has two top-25 times (1500m, 5000m).
CLIMB TO THE SUMMIT
The Broncos claim 21 top-five performances in the Mountain West to date. Mackenzie Flannigan leads the charge in the sprints, holding the top time in the 100-meter dash (11.61) and the second-fastest time in the 200-meter dash (23.72). Jordin Andrade and Fernando Martinez hold the top two times in the 400-meter hurdles in the Mountain West, while Emma Bates and Marisa Howard have the fastest marks in the 1500m.
