Boise State Lands 10 on All-MW Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-10 Broncos were named to the Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field All-Conference Team, the Mountain West announced on Monday. All-Conference selections are awarded to the top-three finishers in each event at the 2015 MW Outdoor Championships, which were held May 13-16 at the SDSU Aztec Sports Deck and hosted by San Diego State University.

Boise State captured six Mountain West titles at the 2015 Mountain West Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Mackenzie Flannigan (100m, 200m) and Marisa Howard (3000m steeplechase, 5000m) took home two titles apiece, while David Elliott (1500m) and Jordin Andrade (400m hurdles) also earned conference crowns.

Six Boise State student-athletes collected a pair of honors, including Jordin Andrade (400m hurdles, 4x400 relay), David Elliott (1500m, 5000m), Dusty Fisher (200m, 4x400 relay) Mackenzie Flannigan (100m, 200m) and Marisa Howard (3000m steeplechase, 5000m) and Kyle Kelley (400m, 4x400 relay).

Five Bronco men collected All-MW honors in the sprints. Along with Andrade, Fisher and Kelley, Rex Stanley (400m hurdles) and Alexandru Terpezan (4x400 relay) earned All-MW accolades.

Rounding out top honors for the men was Austin Hamilton. Hamilton landed on the all-conference team with his third-place finish in the javelin.

On the women's side, Flannigan and Howard paced the Broncos each earning two first-place finishes. Jordan Ward also collected All-MW honors in the high jump with her second-place performance.
