Martin Moves Up Leaderboard in Second Round

RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. - Boise State senior women's golfer Samantha Martin moved two spots up the leaderboard into a tie for 15th in the second round of the 2016 Mountain West Women's Golf Championship, Tuesday.

Martin has a combined score of 152 (76-76, +8) to lead the Broncos. Junior Genevieve Ling is one stroke behind Martin in a tie for 21st with a combined score of 153 (75-78, +9).

The Broncos remain in eighth place after two rounds with a team score of 625 (312-313, +49), five strokes behind seventh-place Nevada.

Senior Sammie Pless lowered her score to shoot 156 (79-77, +12) through two rounds.

Senior McKenzie Ford (82-82 - 164, +20) and junior Oceane Pelloille (85-85 - 168, +24) round out the scoring for Boise State.

The third and final round of the tournament will begin Wednesday at 8 a.m. MT for the Broncos. Boise State will be paired with Wyoming and Nevada once again.
