Inclement Weather Postpones Regionals

Revised Meet Schedule Get Acrobat Reader

LAWRENCE, Kan. - Due to extreme weather conditions that featured heavy rain, wind and lightning, Thursday's scheduled events at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field West Preliminary Round in Lawrence, Kan., were postponed until Friday.

Friday's complete schedule is attached at the top of the page. The women's 10,000-meter run will take place at 8 a.m. (CT) tomorrow morning, with the men's race to come shortly after at 8:40 a.m. to kick off Friday's action. Boise State freshman Brenna Peloquin will be competing in the women's 10K.

From here on out all of the running events will be ran as a quarterfinal. For the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 110m hurdle and 400m hurdle races, the heat winner and the next six fastest times will advance. The 1,500m races will feature the top two runners from each heat advancing with the next four fastest times also moving on.
