MISSOULA, Mont. - Time stood still as Boise State's 90th-minunte chance at an equalizer rolled along the goal line before a Montana defender cleared it away, all but sealing the Grizzlies' win. Montana (4-1-1) scored in the 38th minute on a counter attack and held on for a 1-0 win against the Broncos (1-5-0) Friday, in Missoula, Mont.

Falon Miller, making her Boise State debut, came off the bench to fire three second-half shots and it was Miller's attempt with 18 seconds remaining that nearly sent the match to overtime. Miller is a redshirt junior who played two seasons at Washington, including her freshman year in 2012 while Jim Thomas was on staff with the Huskies.

The Broncos outshot the Grizzlies 8-3 in the second half and 14-11 for the game. Eva Herrera led Boise State with four attempts. Five different Broncos put a shot on goal.

Montana's tally came immediately after Boise State's best look of the first half. Baylee Blaser had a clean look after running through the back line, but Grizzlies keeper Kailey Norman made a save and started the counter attack out the right side. After pushing the ball up the wing, Carlee Bates took off down the side of the box and centered a pass to Charlene Burger standing 10 yards from the net. Burger pushed the shot between the pipes for her first goal of the year.

Boise State returns home Sunday, to host Idaho. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. MT, at Boas Soccer Complex. Fans who present a ticket stub from Saturday's football game will receive $3 admission to the soccer match.
