Boise State women's tennis continues its fall season Sept. 16-18, at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic hosted by Marquette. The Broncos will be joined in the women's draw by Ball State, Marquette and Wisconsin. Each match will be played at The Town Club, which features clay-court playing surfaces.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Each day teams will play a doubles match and a singles match against another team in the draw. A tournament champion will be crowned in singles and doubles, using a point system. Below is Boise State's schedule:
- Friday, 9 a.m. CT: Doubles vs Ball State
- Friday, 3 p.m. CT: Singles vs Marquette
- Saturday, 1 p.m. CT: Doubles vs Marquette
- Saturday, 3 p.m. CT: Singles vs Wisconsin
- Sunday, 9 a.m. CT: Doubles vs Wisconsin
- Sunday, 11 a.m. CT: Singles vs Ball State
BRONCO LINEUP: Lilian Poling, Nancy Menjivar, Milena Toseva and Kirsty Venter will represent Boise State at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic. The quartet all made their season debuts at the WSU Cougar Classic last weekend.
MEET THE BRONCOS: Six Broncos will suit up for Boise State women's tennis this fall, including five returners from a year ago. Milena Toseva begins her senior season, while juniors Nancy Menjivar and Arianna Paules Aldrey join Toseva as upperclassmen. Hanna Kantenwein is back for her sophomore season after earning All-Mountain West singles honors as a freshman. Kirsty Venter also enters her sophomore season. Freshman Lilian Poling is the lone newcomer for the fall. Poling was a five-star recruit as a prep out of West Point, N.Y.
