THE MATCHES: Boise State women's tennis kicks off its spring season this weekend, with home matches against Eastern Washington and Colorado. The Broncos host the Eagles (0-2) Friday, at 5 p.m. MT, before welcoming the Buffaloes (2-0) Sunday, at 10 a.m. MT. The two visiting teams will square off Saturday, at 11 a.m. MT. All matches will be played at the Boas Indoor Tennis Center.

YOUTH IS SERVED: Boise State women's tennis will feature four freshmen, two sophomores and two juniors. The incoming group was named the No. 25 recruiting class in the country last season and sophomore Hanna Kantenwein returns after being named All-Mountain West as a freshman.

NICE TO MEET YOU: Three of Boise State's four freshmen joined the Broncos in January. Anja Dokic, Jovana Kuljanin and Wiktoria Nosek began their collegiate careers this spring, enrolling at Boise State as freshmen.

HOME HEAVY: The Broncos will play at home in 10 of their first 11 matches this spring, and host 13 home matches total this season. Boise State hosts two Pac-12 opponents (Colorado and Oregon) in addition to perennial top-50 programs in Portland and Denver.

MELTING POT: Each member of the 2016-17 Bronco roster represents a different country. The Broncos hail from Australia, El Salvador, Germany, Poland, Scotland, Serbia, Spain and the United States. Assistant coach Kristian Widen adds his own stamp as an Sweden native. Undergraduate assistant coach Naomi de Hart is from The Netherlands.
