BOISE, Idaho - Doug Martin made his return to action in Week 5, finding the end zone for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Darian Thompson made his first NFL interception to highlight Boise State alumni in Week 5.
Martin, returning from a four-game suspension, ran for 74 yards and a touchdown against New England Thursday night.
Entering Week 4 there were 21 former Broncos under contract with NFL clubs, with 14 on active 53-man rosters. Linebacker Shea McClellin (New England Patriots), safeties Chanceller James (San Francisco 49ers) and Jeron Johnson (Jacksonville Jaguars), and defensive tackle Billy Winn (Denver Broncos) will spend the season on injured reserve after suffering season-ending injuries during the preseason. Three more Broncos, offensive lineman Travis Averill (Cleveland Browns), cornerback Donte Deayon (New York Giants), and running back Jeremy McNichols (San Francisco 49ers), are currently on the practice squads of their respective teams.

Jay Ajayi, RB (Miami Dolphins)
Ajayi ran for 77 yards and caught a pair of passes for two yards in Miami's 16-10 win over Tennessee Sunday.
Kamalei Correa, LB (Baltimore Ravens)
Correa saw action in Baltimore's 30-17 victory over the Raiders Sunday, making a solo tackle on special teams.
Tyrone Crawford, DE (Dallas Cowboys)
Crawford started at defensive end for the Cowboys Sunday, registering a sack in Dallas' 35-31 loss to Green Bay.
George Iloka, S (Cincinnati Bengals)
Iloka started at free safety Sunday, making his first interception of the season along with five tackles (three solo) in Cincinnati's 20-16 win over Buffalo. Iloka's interception ended Buffalo's final drive, sealing the Bengal win.
DeMarcus Lawrence, DE (Dallas Cowboys)
Lawrence started at defensive end in Dallas' 35-31 loss to Green Bay, making three tackles (one solo) and recording a sack to bring his league-best total to 8.5.
Charles Leno, Jr., OT (Chicago Bears)
Leno started at left tackle in Chicago's 20-17 loss to Minnesota Monday night.

Martin, making his 2017 debut after serving the final three games of his four-game suspension from last season, rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown, and caught a pass for eight yards, in Tampa Bay's 19-14 loss to New England Thursday night.
Kellen Moore, QB (Dallas Cowboys)
Moore served as Dallas' backup quarterback in Sunday's 35-31 loss to Green Bay, but did not see action.
Rees Odhiambo, G (Seattle Seahawks)
Odhiambo started at left tackle for the Seahawks in their 16-10 win over the Los Angeles Rams.
Matt Paradis - C - Denver Broncos
Paradis and the Denver Broncos were on a bye in Week 5.
Orlando Scandrick, CB (Dallas Cowboys)
Scandrick started at cornerback in Dallas' 35-31 loss to Green Bay, making four solo tackles and breaking up a pass.
Jamar Taylor, S (Cleveland Browns)
Taylor started at cornerback Sunday and made five solo tackles in Cleveland's 17-14 loss to the New York Jets.
Darian Thompson, S (New York Giants)
Thompson started at free safety for the Giants Sunday, making his first-career interception in addition to a game-high 11 tackles (eight solo) in New York's 27-22 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Thompson's interception came in the third quarter as he picked off a Philip Rivers pass in the end zone.
Tanner Vallejo, LB (Buffalo Bills)
Vallejo saw action in Buffalo's 20-16 loss to Cincinnati Sunday.
