Oct. 23, 2017

BOISE, Idaho - Redshirt senior quarterback Montell Cozart was voted by Bronco fans the Boise State Athlete of the Week Monday.

Cozart had a hand in all three Bronco touchdowns in Saturday night's 24-14 victory over Wyoming. He scored on a pair of 4-yard runs in the second half, the second of which put Boise State ahead for good at 17-14 with 10:40 to play. He helped seal the victory just over two minutes later, hitting Cedrick Wilson on a 24-yard scoring strike to make it a two-possession game with 8:35 to play.

For the night, Cozart went 4-for-5 passing for 53 yards and a touchdown, while carrying 16 times for 52 yards and two more scores. He became the first Bronco quarterback to rush for two scores in a game since Grant Hedrick ran for a pair against Fresno State in the 2014 Mountain West Championship Game.
