Boise State at Montana
Sunday, March 12 | 9 a.m. MT
THE MATCH: Boise State women's tennis heads back on the road for a Sunday match at Montana. First serve is set for 9 a.m. MT. The Broncos (7-4) are looking for their first road win of the season.
ABOUT MONTANA: The Grizzlies (1-10) have played all 11 matches away from home this season, but host a three-match home stand this weekend. Montana will take on Idaho State (Friday) and Southern Utah (Saturday) before meeting the Broncos Sunday morning. The Grizzlies have won the doubles point in three matches, and in singles have seen the most success on courts two and four with four wins at each position.
LAST TIME OUT: Boise State suffered a pair of defeats last weekend, falling to Denver and Oregon. The Pioneers came away with a 7-0 win Friday, before the Ducks squeaked out a 4-3 victory Sunday, at the Boas Indoor Tennis Center. Lilian Poling, Anja Dokic and Kirsty Venter were all victorious in singles Sunday, as the Broncos mounted a late surge but could not climb out of an early hole after dropping the doubles point. Dokic also turned in a strong performance Friday, pushing the country's No. 96 ranked singles player to a third-set tiebreaker.
ON A ROLL: Freshman Anja Dokic has won seven of her last eight singles matches, with the only loss coming in a three-set defeat to a top-100 player in Denver's Bianca Mok. Dokic is 7-2 in singles this season, after joining the Broncos in January.
