COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Boise State women's tennis earned the No. 6 seed in this week's Mountain West Championship, the conference announced Monday. The Broncos (13-8) will face No. 11 seed Colorado State in the opening round Thursday (April 27), at 2 p.m. PT/3 p.m. MT at the Fertitta Tennis Complex in Las Vegas.
The winner between Boise State and Colorado State advances to face No. 3 seed San Jose State in the quarterfinals Friday, at 2 p.m. PT/3 p.m. MT.
The Broncos defeated the Rams 5-2, March 31, in Boise. It was one of two wins for the Broncos during conference play. Colorado State (9-13) lost all six of its matches against Mountain West foes in the regular season. Seeding for the tournament was determined by the ITA National Rankings.
The semifinals (April 29) and championship (April 30) will be live streamed on the Mountain West Network.
