Battle in the Bay Classic Day Two Recap

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Boise State's Jack Heslin and Matteo Tinelli fell in the consolation singles bracket of the Battle in the Bay Classic Saturday afternoon, both to players from Cal.

Heslin took on Jacob Brumm in the consolation round of 16 falling in two to the Golden Bear 6-1, 6-2. The loss eliminated Heslin from the tournament.

Tinelli struggled on Saturday also competing in the consolation round of 16 where he lost by injury retirement to Cal's Paul Barretto 6-0, 4-0, ret. The loss also wrapped up Tinelli's tournament run.

The Bronco tandem opened the day with a doubles match against San Francisco's Johan Joenhagen and Ryan Marker. The Broncos lost 8-1 to the Golden Bears duo.
