Against Illinois-Chicago, the Broncos are 4-1-0 all-time against the Flames, and they have won the last four matchups, with the last meeting coming in a 2017 quad meet at Utah, along with Denver.

The Broncos are 52-9-0 all-time against Seattle Pacific, having won the last 34 matchups. The last time the two teams faced off was in a tri-meet to open up the 2016 season.

BRONCO CAPTAINS Seniors Sandra Collantes and Ann Stockwell have been tabbed as team captains for the 2017-18 season.

LAST TIME OUT The Broncos defeated MRGC foe Southern Utah 196.225 to 194.350 to open up the 2018 campaign with their program-best season-opening all-around team score. For her efforts, Remme was named MRGC Gymnast of the Week and MRGC Bars Specialist of the Week for her conference-high scores in the all-around and bars.

RETURNERS The Broncos return a wealth of experience from a 2017 squad that brought home the program's third-straight MRGC title. The 11 returners are headlined by 2017 MRGC Gymnast of the Year Shani Remme, who finished ninth individually in the first semifinal at the 2017 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships, setting the highest all-around score at nationals in Boise State history (39.3625). In addition to Remme, the Broncos return six additional gymnasts that earned All-MRGC First Team honors in 2017, Sarah Means, Courtney McGregor, Mary Frances Bir, Sandra Collantes, Alex Esmerian and Abby Webb. Overall the Broncos return seven of eight all-conference honorees from last season. For the 11th-straight season the Broncos are under the direction of co-head coaches Tina Bird and Neil Resnick, the 2017 MRGC Coaches of the Year and the 2017 NACGC/W West Region Co-Head Coaches of the Year.
