SEATTLE, Wash. - In a facility known for fast times, the Boise State women's distance medley relay team set a new school record to highlight the first day of the UW Invitational, Friday at the Dempsey Indoor Center.
The team of Sadi Henderson, Chelsea Walker, Amy Pfaff and Alexis Fuller ran 11:15.67 to finish second to Washington in the third heat of the distance medley relay. The time surpassed the previous school record by 89-hundreths of a seconds, and is currently the third fastest time in the nation this season.
Jordan Jacob won the first heat of the women's 3,000m in a personal best 9:58.90, while Emily DeMarco ran 10:14.64 - also a personal best.
Kendra Noneman took 20th in the women's weight throw with a personal best toss of 52-4.5 (15.96m).
The team will conclude the invitational tomorrow, with events beginning at 10 a.m. (MT) with the men's weight throw. Live results can be found here.
