Broncos Open Spring in California

BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State men's golf team returns to action for the spring season, travelling to Somis, Calif., for the Waves Challenge, Jan. 29-30.

HISTORY: This will be Boise State's first appearance at the Pepperdine-hosted tournament. This is the first year the tournament will be called the Waves Challenge, but the 12th-time Pepperdine has hosted a tournament at Saticoy Country Club.

The last time being the 2015 West Coast Conference Championship.

SCHEDULE: The 54-hole tournament will begin Monday with 36 holes being played, beginning with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. (MT). The final 18 holes will be played Tuesday, starting with tee times off holes 1 and 10 at 9 a.m.

THE COURSE: Play will be held at the par-72, 6,985-yard Saticoy Country Club.

FALL RECAP: The Broncos ended the fall averaging 283.47 (-2.93 versus par) during the fall season, which ranks as the lowest single-season score in school history, if the season were to end today. Boise State made 274 birdies, and 16 eagles during the fall, marks that rank fourth and second in the nation, respectively.
