Roberts and Hughes lead Whites to win with 11 kills each.

BOISE, Idaho – The White Team defeated the Blue Team in three sets 25-22, 25-18, 25-16 Thursday night in the annual Boise State intra-squad scrimmage at Bronco Gym. Seniors Sabryn Roberts and Morgan Hughes led the Whites to the victory each recording 11 kills in the win. Junior Celine Christensen and freshman Alyssa Wissinger led the Blues with six kills apiece.

"I was happy with tonight's effort by both teams," said head coach Shawn Garus. "We wanted to see where we are after a week of practice and how far we have progressed as a team. We have a lot of new faces on the team this fall and they seem to be picking up things quickly. The key for us this year is how fast we can get everyone on the same page, both the returners and the new kids."
