Broncos Hit a Rough Patch on Day One of ISU Fall Invite

Boise State Women's Tennis struggled in day one of action, but will look to turn things around on Saturday

POCATELLO, Idaho (9/29/18) The Bronco women's tennis team got off to a slow start in their first day at the ISU Fall Invite at Pocatello Idaho on Friday.
All three Broncos battled hard but were ultimately defeated in the first round of singles play going a combined 0-3. Freshman Sydnie Binder led the trio in Pocatello falling in a tightly contested two-set match 7-5, 7-6(4) to Weber State's McKenna Lloyd. 
In doubles play, the Bronco duo of Vanessa Timm and Wiktoria Nosek won their opening round match over Emily Tanner and McKenna Lloyd from Weber State by a score of 6-4. The tandem then lost a nail-biter in the next round to Utah State's team of Alexandra Taylor and Sidnee Lavatai 7-6 (7-3).
The Broncos will pick up action again on Saturday where they will look to turn things around in the second day of play.
