Teri McCarron joined the Boise State women’s golf team in fall 1993 and was a mainstay in the Broncos’ lineup for two seasons, notching back-to-back all-conference accolades.
During her first year on the team, McCarron was Boise State’s top finisher at three tournaments, registering one individual title, while averaging a score of 85.2.
She topped the podium at the Boise State vs. Idaho State Women’s Dual Golf Match, firing rounds of 83-81 and leading the Broncos to victory over the Vandals.
McCarron also tied for fifth at the 1993 Big Sky Championships during her inaugural season. She carded rounds of 85-88-78 (+35) en route to helping Boise State win its first conference title and earning her first-career all-conference award.
In fall 1994, McCarron led the Blue and Orange with a scoring average of 79.4 and was the team's top finisher at all four tournaments in which she appeared.
She registered three top-10 finishes, including a silver-medal performance at the Bobcat Riverside Invitational, shooting rounds of 80-76.
McCarron culminated her second season by earning all-conference honors at the 1994 Big Sky Championships in Moscow, Idaho.
Once again, McCarron tied for fifth place, registering a score of 242 (75-86-81).
