LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore was named the MAACO Bowl Las Vegas Mountain West Player of the Week, Wednesday.

As part of its 20th-year celebration, MAACO Bowl Las Vegas is beginning a tradition of conducting weekly Facebook polls – driven by fan votes – to recognize exemplary on-field play within its two Bowl-affiliated conferences, the Pac-12 and Mountain West.

Moore is receiving the honor for the second time in three weeks.

Against Air Force, Moore completed 23-of-29 passes for 281 yards and three touchdowns in the Broncos’ 37-26 victory. With the Broncos’ win, Moore tied the NCAA record for most wins by a quarterback (45).

Wide receiver Juron Criner of Arizona received the award for the Pac-12.

Each week, players from each conference will be nominated, and fans can vote for the winner at www.facebook.com/lvbowl.
