Six Broncos Named NACGC/W Scholar Athletes

BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State gymnastics team has landed six student-athletes on the 2011 National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women (NACGC/W) Scholar Athlete list. The honors are for the 2010-11 scholastic year and are eligible to student-athletes with a grade-point average of 3.50 or better.

Three Bronco seniors, one junior and two sophomores from the 2011 gymnastics team earned Scholar Athlete honors.

Seniors Mallory Dziawura and Kelsey Lang lead the pack of Broncos, each earning their fourth NACGC/W Scholar Athlete honor. Fellow senior Katie Tuller earned her first career honor, while redshirt junior Chelsee Apple earned her third honor. Sophomores Erin Wippermann and Hailey Gaspar picked up their second and first career honors, respectively.

The 2011 honored Broncos were six of 501 individual gymnasts honored nationwide.
