BOISE, Idaho – Nine former Boise State football standouts saw action during the inaugural week of the 2022-23 NFL season.
The Atlanta Falcons' Avery Williams made his debut at running back against the New Orleans Saints after switching positions from cornerback, and former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Cedrick Wilson suited up for the Miami Dolphins.
Here is a look at what all the Broncos in the NFL did in week one:
Arizona Cardinals (Cardinals 21, Chiefs 44)
Tanner Vallejo (LB) – Vallejo saw action on both defense and special teams, playing 96 percent of special teams snaps.
Next – at Las Vegas Raiders, 2:25 p.m. MT
Atlanta Falcons (Falcons 26, Saints 27)
Avery Williams (RB) – Williams recorded seven yards rushing on two carries and added eight yards on one reception. He also returned three punts, averaging 14.0 yards per return.
Next – at Los Angeles Rams, 2:05 p.m. MT
Dallas Cowboys (Cowboys 3, Buccaneers 19)
Demarcus Lawrence (DE) – Lawrence started at defensive end, registering four tackles, including one for-loss.
Leighton Vander Esch (LB) – Vander Esch started at linebacker, notching a team-leading nine tackles.
Next – vs. Cincinnati Bengals, 2:25 p.m. MT
Miami Dolphins (Dolphins 20, Patriots 7)
Cedrick Wilson (WR) – Wilson caught two passes for 20 yards receiving, adding eight yards on one rushing attempt.

Minnesota Vikings (Vikings 23, Packers 7)
Ezra Cleveland (G) – Cleveland started at left guard, playing all 66 offensive snaps.
Alexander Mattison (RB) – Mattison carried the ball eight times, accumulating 36 yards rushing.

Washington Commanders (Commanders 28, Jaguars 22)
John Bates (TE) – Bates started at tight end, playing 55 percent of the offensive snaps.
Charles Leno, Jr. (LT) – Leno, Jr., started at left tackle, playing all 77 offensive snaps.
