  Mission Statement


The goal of the Athletic Training staff is to support one another in providing the most innovative, comprehensive and practical health care available to student-athletes in order to enhance their overall collegiate experience at Boise State University.

  Scope of Practice


Athletic Training at Boise State University is practiced by Certified Athletic Trainers, health care professionals who collaborate with physicians, physical therapists and other health care providers to optimize activity and participation of student-athletes. Athletic Training focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, management and rehabilitation of sport-related injuries. Boise State University's Certified Athletic Trainers are licensed to practice Athletic Training in the State of Idaho, under a team of directing physicians who are also licensed in Idaho with the Idaho State Board of Medicine.
