Who is eligible for the pilot program?
Currently, this program is open all ticket holders for the 2025-26 Boise State basketball seasons. Registration is completely optional and all fans can still choose to your traditional check-in method.
Where are the Express Lanes located?
Students: Entrance 1 (Student Entrance).
Lyle Smith Society: Entrance 1 (Main Lobby) and the Double R Ranch Club Entrance. Look for the "Bronco Express Lane" signage.

Does this replace my ticket?
Yes, for entry purposes. However, we recommend keeping your phone charged and available to help you locate your seat once inside the arena.
How do I gain entry into ExtraMile Arena through this pilot program?
Once the registration process is complete and your account is linked to your Ticketmaster account, you can scan in with the facial authentication scanners at the Bronco Express Lane entry. The facial authentication scanner is similar to taking a photo in front of a tablet.
Am I required to register for this pilot program?
No, registration is completely optional and opt-in only. You can still choose to use your traditional check-in method at basketball games at ExtraMile Arena.
How is my privacy protected?
Boise State does not store your biometric data. The program is powered by Wicket, a leader in facial authentication. Your photo is converted to a mathematical token and is not used for surveillance. You can opt-out and delete your data at any time.
Could this ever be used to identify me elsewhere?
This is a pilot program through a third-party Wicket, which pairs with your Ticketmaster account. This pilot program is used for entry into basketball games at ExtraMile Arena for the 2025-26 seasons.
Will this pilot program be extended for future seasons?
To be determined, based on feedback from fans at ExtraMile Arena and a measurement of the check-in experience and wait times at each game for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.
