Thayer White joined the Boise State men’s golf coaching staff in 2017-18 after spending the previous season as an undergraduate student assistant coach at Cal.
White earned his bachelor's degree in geography from Cal in May 2017. He spent one season in the Cal men's golf program as a men's golf student-athlete in 2012-13 but did not see any action.
A native of Santa Barbara, Calif., White was a two-sport athlete for San Marcos High School.
White's junior career was highlighted by an appearance in the 2011 U.S. Junior Amateur after winning a qualifier for the event.
This is White’s second season as the assistant coach for the Broncos. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Athletic Leadership from Boise State and is expected to complete his degree in May 2019.
