Cedric Minter represents the type of athlete that was responsible for the success of Boise State football in the late 1970’s. Minter played halfback and rushed for 4,475 yards in his career. He scored 37 touchdowns in his career and rushed for 1,526 yards in 1978. He had 20 games in which he rushed for 100 or more yards and 4 games in which he rushed for 200 or more yards. Minter was 3rd Team All-American in 1980. He was the 1st round draft pick of the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL and later performed for the New York Jets of the NFL.
