All American Wrestler, Boise State 1971-75
Inducted into the Boise State Hall of Fame in 1985

Dave Chandler won four consecutive Big Sky Championships in wrestling at Boise State University. He was twice voted the Big Sky’s Outstanding Wrestler. IN 1975 he capped his career with a 5th place finish at the NCAA Division I National Wrestling Championships. He was selected as a NCAA All-American wrestler in 1975.
