All American Football Player, Boise State 1988-91
A four-year starter at cornerback, Frank Robinson is one of the top defensive players in Boise State and Big Sky Conference History. Â He was also one of the top cornerbacks in the country during his senior season of 1991, when he received first team All-American honors from Kodak/American Coaches Association, the Walter Camp Foundation and the Associated Press. Â Twice he also received first team All-Big Sky Conference honors, including his unanimous selection in 1990. Â As a senior, Robinson broke a 21-year old record in the Big Sky Conference with 22 career interceptions. Â He also intercepted eight passes, and returned two for touchdowns in 1991 despite playing the final five games with a broken left hand. Â Robinson was also a two-year letterman for the Boise State basketball team in 1989 and 1990. Â He was taken in the fifth round of the 1992 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos and played with the Broncos for three seasons. Â He graduated from Boise State in 1991 with a degree in Management and Human Resources.
