BRONCOS ARRIVE IN ARIZONA FOR TOSTITOS FIESTA BOWL

            SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. Just as advertised The Valley of the Sun was the scene on Tuesday (Dec. 26) morning as the Boise State University football team arrived in Arizona to begin final preparations for the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 1 (Monday).

            The Broncos arrived mid-morning sunny skies at Skyharbor International Airport in Phoenix.  The Southwest Airlines charter plane carrying players, coaches, staff and families arrived approximately 15 minutes early and headed immediately to its team hotel in north Scottsdale.

            Today’s schedule is light with a press conference scheduled at 1:00 p.m. with Bronco head coach Chris Petersen and players Derek Schouman and David Shields, and then a team meeting and free time the rest of the day. 

            The first practice in Arizona is set for Wednesday (Dec. 27) from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. at Scottsdale Community College.  Following practice on Wednesday, the Boise State players and coaches will take part in a Youth Gridiron Day with local youth.

            Boise State’s game against the University of Oklahoma begins at 6:50 p.m. on Monday (Jan. 1) at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.
