
Women's Cross Country Captures Bob Firman Team Title

Leading the way for the Bronco women was Breanna Sande who earned her third top five finish in as many races with a 18:16.60 on the 5,000-meter course to collect two points. Freshman Hillary McClendon finished in 18:32.38 for fifth place, as she collected five points for team. Also earning points for
The men’s team captured a second place finish with 96 points, one better than Idaho State, as senior Cody Eaton paced the way with a 25:34.16 on the 8,000-meter course to earn the fourth place individual finish. This is the second top five finish for Eaton in three races this season.
Also earning points for Boise State men’s cross country team was Sawyer Bosch who finished in 14th place with a 25:55.15, Kevin Higgs in 15th place (25:56.34), Scott Foley in 28th with a 26:21.02, and Stanley Chebii in 48th place with a 26:54.99.
“I am ecstatic about how both the teams ran today,” graduate assistant interim cross country coach Tom Shanahan said. “We ran aggressive throughout the race. I was very impressed in how we took the race on and finished.”
