Broncos Earn Top Five Finishes at Charles Bowles Invite

This is the fourth consecutive race the women’s team has finished either first or second in four races this season.
Breanna Sande led the team and finished in the top 5 for the fourth straight race as she posted a 17:40.70 to finish third on the 5,000-meter course at
All five Boise State women’s runners finished in the top 20 en route to registering 53 points.
Hilary McClendon has finished in the top 10 in all three races she has competed in this fall. At the Charles Bowles Invitational, hosted by
Chaly Jones continues her streak of placing in the top 10 as she registered a, 18:06.90 to finish 10th place as extend her streak to four straight races.
Also finishing in the top 20 for the Broncos was Pamila Ward in 14th place (18:17.45) and Carly Gerard in 17th (18:23.50).
Cody Eaton once again led the men’s team as he finished in sixth place with a 25:00.95.
Sawyer Bosch was the only other Bronco men’s runner to finish in the top 20 as he collected a 19th place finish with a 25:23.20 on the 8,000-meter course.
Kevin Higgs, Scott Foley and Cameron Lockard rounded out the scoring for the Boise State men’s team who finished with 176 points for a fifth place finish among the collegiate teams. Higgs finished in 21st place with a 25:25.50, Foley in 50th place with a 26:12.80 and Lockard in 80th with a 27:19.25.
