BOISE, Idaho The Boise State track and field team captured four first-place finishes and earned two NCAA provisional marks, Friday (Jan. 30), on day-one of the two-day Bronco Invitational at the Jacksons Indoor Track in Nampa. In the long jump, freshman Eetu Viitala (Kuortane, Finald (Kuortane HS) turned in his top jump of the season (24-07.75/7.51m), which was good enough for second-place in the meet. The jump earned Viitala a NCAA provisional qualifying mark. Boise State senior Ryan Grinnell (Idaho Falls, Idaho/Skyline HS) also earned an NCAA provisional mark with a jump of 24-07.25 (7.50m), which was good enough for third-place.
