Academic Excellence
To support the academic progress of the student-athlete toward intellectual development and graduation.
Boise State University and the department of athletics are committed to supporting Bronco Student-Athletes’’ pursuit of excellence on and off the field of competition. The Bronco Academic Support Program helps all student-athletes take advantage of the many personal and education opportunities available at Boise State.
The Bronco academic support staff works closely with student-athletes, coaches and the university community to meet the unique educational and personal needs of student-athletes competing at the highest level of collegiate athletics. The academic support staff offers general academic counseling to all student-athletes and works on monitoring NCAA, WAC and Boise State academic requirements.
The heart of the Academic Support Program is the Peterson-PRECO Learning Center. Conveniently located on the south side of Taco Bell Arena, this 6,000 square-foot academic facility for student-athletes houses a supervised computer lab, tutorial study rooms, two large study areas and academic advisor offices.
