BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Jeff Elorriaga scored 26 points in his season debut and Boise State rolled to a 110-53 victory over Simpson on Friday night at Taco Bell Arena.

Anthony Drmic added 16 points and Nick Duncan tallied 14 for the Broncos (2-0). Elorriaga went 9-of-10 from the field - including 7-of-8 from 3-point range - as Boise State made 15 3-pointers, one shy of the school record.

Elorriaga's seven triples is the highest total in the Mountain West this season.

Shaquille Jones scored nine points to lead the Red Hawks (1-5), an NAIA program from Redding, Calif.

The Broncos jumped to a 19-5 lead a little over five minutes into the game and steadily pulled away. Boise State's largest lead was at 92-33 with 10:48 left to play.

Elorriaga had 20 points and made five 3-pointers in the first half to help the Broncos to a 60-25 advantage. The senior guard missed Boise State's season-opening win against Texas-Arlington on Nov. 8 as a precaution after hitting his head in practice.

Redshirt freshman Joey Nebeker scored his first-career point on a free throw with 6:05 left in the game and added his first-career field goal, and first-career three-pointer before finishing with nine points.

Boise State grabbed 51 rebounds in the win, its highest rebound total since hauling in 56 against Corban, Dec. 30, 2012.

Boise State has hit the 100-point plateau in each of its first two games this season. The Broncos have now scored at least 100 points 32 times in program history, with seven of those instances coming under head coach Leon Rice.
