NEW ORLEANS (AP)- Boise State men's basketball scored 100 points for the third time in four games en route to earning its first road win of the year with a 100-80 victory Saturday, at New Orleans. Anthony Drmic scored 24 points and became the 23rd Bronco to eclipse the 1,000-point plateau for his career.

Drmic had 13 points in the first half, including a driving layup with 1:16 left that pushed him past the milestone. The junior scored his 1,000th point in the 65th game of his career, tied for the sixth-fastest in school history. He finished the game with 1,012 career points, passing Jason Ellis (1,004) and Anthony Thomas (1,005).

Igor Hadziomerovic posted a season-high 13 points, while dishing out a game-high six assists and pulling down six rebounds. Hadziomerovic had 11 in the first half on 4-of-5 shooting, pacing the Broncos to a 52-28 lead at the break.

Boise State jumped out to a 24-5 lead in the first nine minutes, holding New Orelans (1-2) to 1-of-15 shooting during the stretch.

Derrick Marks tied Drmic for game-high honors with 24 points of his own, including making 10-of-12 from the free throw line.

Jeff Elorriaga score 18 points all from beyond the arc. Elorriaga knocked down six three-pointers, including making his first five attempts. He is averaging six made three-pointers per game and is 18-for-27 on the year from three-point range.

Ryan Watkins had a game-high 11 rebounds. Watkins also had six points.

Cory Dixon scored 23 to pace four Privateers in double figures. Dixon also grabbed 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the year.

The Broncos had 11 steals among the 15 turnovers they forced.

Boise State will next take the court Wednesday, Nov. 27, in a neutral-site game against Idaho at CenturyLink Arena.
