Men's Golf Completes Opening Round of The Goodwin

PALO ALTO, Calif. - The Boise State men's golf team concluded the first round of The Goodwin in Palo Alto, Calif., Thursday.
Sophomore Kyle Mitsunaga, one of three Broncos to record a 2-over 72, fired back-to-back birdies on holes 11 and 12 at the par-70, 6,727-yard Stanford University Golf Course.
The Broncos are tied for 20th place following a score of 290 (+10). No. 33 TCU leads the field at 264 (-16).
Rounding out the scoring for the Broncos were junior Logan France (70, +2), sophomore David Elliott (70, +2), senior Ty Travis (74, +4) and junior Shane Allor (74, +4).
Boise State is scheduled to tee off at 9:25 a.m. (MT), Friday. Live scoring is available at Golfstat.com.
