PALO ALTO, Calif. - Boise State junior men's golfer Shane Allor posted the best second round score for the Broncos at The Goodwin in Palo Alto, Calif., Friday.

Allor fired a 2-over 72, making his two-day total 146 (+6), at the par-70, 6,727-yard Stanford University Golf Course.

Junior Logan France also recorded back-to-back birdies on holes 3 and 4 en route to a 3-over 73, concluding the day with a two-round total of 145 (+5).

The Broncos shot 296 (+16) as a team Friday, placing them tied for 22nd with a two day total 586 (+26). No. 38 UAB leads the field at 541 (-19).

Sophomore David Elliott (72, 75 --147, +7), sophomore Kyle Mitsunaga (72, 76 -- 148, +8) and senior Ty Travis (74, 76 --150, +10) rounded out the scoring for Boise State.

Teams are set to tee off in the final round from holes 1 and 10 in two waves starting at 8:30 a.m (MT) and 1:15 p.m (MT), Saturday.
