ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) Anthony Drmic scored a season-high 30 points off the bench for the Broncos, but it wasn't enough Wednesday night as Boise State lost 80-78 to New Mexico.

The Broncos (17-10, 8-6 MW) led 76-61 with 6:01 remaining before shooting 1-of-9 from the field and 0-for-3 from the free throw line in the final 5:21 as the Lobos ( 16-10, 9-4 MW) closed the night on a 19-2 run.

New Mexico guard Elijah Brown finished with 26 points, including 13 during the late run. After a James Webb III tip-in with 3:07 remaining pushed Boise State's lead to 78-70, Brown scored the next nine points to put the Lobos ahead with 30 seconds left.

Boise State and New Mexico started the game a combined 1-for-13 from three-point range. In a stretch of 4:13 late in the first half, the teams combined to make 11 consecutive three-pointers. The Broncos made six, including five from Drmic.

Drmic broke Coby Karl's school record for career three-pointers made. Drmic was 6-for-12 from beyond the arc Wednesday, giving him 267 for his career. Karl set the previous mark with 266 from 2003-07.

Webb finished with 18 points and 13 rebounds, his 10th double-double of the season.
